At Zoomarine, you can watch the dolphin displays, sea lion show or even view the dinosaur exhibition which is interactive. You can also view the incredible bird show or learn more about turtles in the 4d cinema. If that wasn't enough, there are several fairground rides, a swimming pool and water slides for those visiting to enjoy. If you ever wanted to interact with dolphins then this is your chance as you can get up close and learn about training techniques. Dates to note
October sees the annual Obrigado Festival at the Sitio das Fontes on the bank of the Arade River. Around 20 minutes away from Carvoeiro via car, this event runs from the 3rd to 5th of October and celebrates cultural exchange. Expect live music, food, drink, crafts and theatre at this free of charge festival.
