A bit of a scorcher this year in Cape Towm with average day time temperatures of 32 C.
This was alot hotter than usual but with no pumping South Easter blowing everything away it was brilliant!
Summer usually hovers aroung the 26 C mark with a very strong south easterly wind most days.Holiday
Really amazing!!!
The Cape in general is absolutely stunning with a cosmopolitan city, hundreds of amazing restaurants, espeically if you like to eat loads of seafood and red meat!
The wine estates in and around the cape are magnificent and most have lovely outdoor restaurants and do wine tasting.
We were blown away at how utterly beautiful the beaches are and be sure to take a full day to drive around the peninsula and visit the wild penguins in Simons Town!
If you feel adventurous take the train from Cape Town station and make a day of it.
You get to hop on and off as you like and explore the little towns on the way.
Kalk bay is a real little gem!
