Summer is a very hot time of year in Calis, with average high temperatures reaching up to the 30s (degrees Celsius), so sun cream is a must. Even the average low temperatures are fairly pleasant, with a minimum of 19°C in June but reaching above 20°C in the other summer months. Warm rays of sun shine down upon Calis with very little rain during summer (thereâs only one millimetre of precipitation over each month)! When Calis does receive a small sprinkling of raindrops, it only lasts for a single day. Before you knew it, the rain would soon stop falling and be replaced by the glorious sunshine.
Autumn is still a hot time of year yet slightly cooler compared to summer, with average high temperatures ranging from 20 to 30°C. Average low temperatures are moderately pleasant and can reach up to a comfortable 18°C. Autumn receives more rain than in the arid summer months, normally around 27 millimetres (give or take) of precipitation over September and October. November, however, is the wettest month of the year when precipitation rises up to 114 millimetres over the one month! If you plan on visiting Calis during autumn, remember to come prepared - check the weather forecast before your visit and pack an umbrella (especially if your visit is in November)!
Winter is typically the coldest season of the year in Calis, but its Mediterranean climate still makes a stay in Calis a pleasant one, with temperatures reaching around a cool yet comfortable 16°C. Average low temperatures, however, can drop to around 7°C, so packing a few extra layers for a visit to Calis in the winter is advised. Luckily, Calis does not receive nearly as much rain as in November. However, rainfall is still fairly moderate with up to 11 days of precipitation. January is the wettest month in winter, with 86 millimetres of rain. Visitors would be wise to check the weather forecast prior to their stay and to pack some waterproof clothes with them, just in case they get caught in the rain.
Spring is another time of year when the warm rays of the sun shine down on Calisâ sandy beaches, with average high temperatures reaching up to a hot 25°C. The average low temperature is a cool 11°C, give or take a few degrees. Rainfall is not too excessive during springtime, with up to 40 millimetres of precipitation in March over 8 days (the wettest month of spring), yet the other spring months receive up to 15 millimetres of rain each month.
Calis is ideal for holidays for families and couples, with its quiet nightlife and beautiful views. If youâre lucky enough, you may see a sea turtle showing up on the shore to lay its eggs in the sand! It provides many things to do, whether itâs a trip to the water park, snorkelling, water sports, taking a trip with its many excursion opportunities or shark fishing (if you dare!).
