What's the Weather like in Calella in October
Autumn is a wonderful time to visit this region of Spain, because not only are temperatures much less than the previous few months, yet still very mild, but crowds are less too, which means you are able to explore in much freer conditions. Things to do in Calella in October
Santa Susanna
Whilst it's still entirely possible to enjoy beach time during October, thanks to a still very warm sea temperature and a sunny vibe to the resort, as the month progresses the vibe is more land-based. There are still many things to see and do, including heading to nearby Santa Susanna to the daily craft market. It is best to visit in the early part of the month, to ensure you get the best of the deals, but the picturesque market takes place along the prom, with beautiful views out to sea.
Club Tennis Calella
Of course, in Calella you could also enjoy a spot of exercise, by visiting the very popular Club Tennis Calella. Enjoy a game with family or friends, or take part in classes to improve your skills! Call ahead to book your spot, as locals head here on a regular basis, as part of their daily routine.
Resorts
Much of the pace of life in the resort now the season is coming to an end is chilled out, however night-life is still vibrant, and you can enjoy entertainment in the large hotels, which remain open until the end of the month generally. You can still enjoy pool days during this last month of the official summer season, and especially at the larger all-inclusive resorts, you will find plentiful pool fun to keep the kids occupied.
Walking Trails
There are many different walking trails around Calella, which are ideal for enjoying now the cooler temperatures are taking hold, and you don't need to be an expert walker to check out the beautiful scenery around the resort. Some trails are long distance, however you can easily just walk along the prom and see where the path takes you, before turning back as the evening's cooler temperatures kick in.
