What's the Weather like in Calella in June

The beginning of summer is a fantastic time to visit Calella, before the heat of the peak months and the major crowds, yet still a time offering fantastic weather, plenty to see and do, and choice in terms of hotels and nightlife. Prior to the regular summer school holidays, you may also find that prices for package holidays in Spain are cheaper, so this is a good idea if you want to keep costs low.

Temperature

June experiences an average temperature of around 21°C, however the average high temperature can creep up to a wonderful 27°C during the hottest parts of the day. It's always a good idea to seek out shade as much as possible, especially if you are travelling with children. Despite that, evenings are mild, yet not hot, which makes for the perfect good night sleep conditions. You won't be needing air-conditioning during the first half of the month, however the later part of the month may see a need for it.

Rainfall

The average rainfall level reduces as we move away from the previous rainy month, with an average of 62mm across the month, which can affect just 7 days to some degree or another.

Average Sunshine Hours

Again, forecasts are the way forward. To put this into perspective, you can expect a huge 12 hours of sunshine per day, which means beach time is a must when you head to this beautiful Spanish resort.

Average Sea Temperature

The sea is also hotting up, and is now at the ideal temperature for swimming and water-sports at an average water temperature of 21°C across the month.

Put simply, this is the ideal time to visit the resort, because the weather is fantastic, yet not too hot, and you can still explore the nearby cities, towns, and countryside, before the peak heat hits in the coming two months.

GHT Maritim Hotel

The GHT Maritim Hotel is another top choice, located right on the beach and close to all amenities. The poolside snack bar means you won't need to walk too far for refreshment, and again, the free entertainment programme means you have plentiful choice for your evening fun.
