June is the ideal time to enjoy everything Calella has to offer, without the major crowds, and the same can be said for accommodation options; whilst the resort is busy at this time, it's not teeming with visitors, so you won't struggle to find a sun lounger around the pool.
H Top Calella Palace
H Top Calella Palace has all board options available, located in a peaceful part of the resort, although within close walking distance of the main stretch. Of course, there is also plentiful public transport nearby too. The hotel offers a large sun terrace on the roof, with fantastic views, as well as on-site entertainment, and a sauna for an extra cost.

Beaches in Calella for June
Garbi
Calella actually has three main beaches, which all do merge into one at some stage, lasting for around 3km. Aside from the main beach, Gran Playa, there are two smaller, and quieter beaches to enjoy. When the crowds slowly begin to arrive in the resort, the quieter beaches are a better bet for a chilled out day.
Garbi is one of those aforementioned quieter beaches, whilst still being lively enough for a fun day splashing in the sea and chilling on the golden sand.
Restaurants & Nightlife
La Llar de Froc
The peak seasonal months in Calella, such as June, means that every restaurant is open, and that means plentiful choice! Of course, you should try something authentic during your stay, and La Llar de Foc is a great middle-ground choice. Here you can try traditional dishes, but without being too 'out there'. There are fantastic steaks on offer here too, and they cook your meat in front of you.

June means the epitome of summer weather, without searing temperatures, which can occur during the coming two months. This is a great time for those who want the best of both worlds, and another perk is that crowds won't be quite as much at this time. This is an ideal time to take advantage of days out, such as boat trips, which can be uncomfortable when the sun is beating down later over the next couple of months. You will find many companies who offer trips now the season is in full swing, such as Dofi Jet Boats.
Watersports Centre
Keeping with the water theme, there are plentiful water-sports to enjoy now the weather is hotting up to its traditional summer levels, and Watersports Centre are on hand to offer a variety of different fun activities to try; perhaps banana boats are for you, or water skiing, fly fish, wakeboarding, speed boats, or stand up paddle boarding the list goes on.
Lloret de Mar
Of course, Calella is very close to another popular resort on the Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar. Here you will find a fun Tuesday market, which runs from 8am 12pm every week. There are countless stalls selling all sorts of handcrafted goods, perfect for souvenirs to take home.
