Calais is beginning to warm up by March, with average high temperatures reaching a comfortable 50°F (10°C) and lows of only 41.4°F (5.2°C).

It's a great time for tourists to experience some of Calais' outdoor activities. One of the most popular sightseeing opportunities is the Bike Tour of Le Touquet. Every Sunday, participants supply their own bicycles and ride all over the countryside in a relaxed and fun group setting, viewing rich and abundant agriculture.

These tours last throughout the tourist season, closing down briefly from mid-December to February.

The average temperature for the month of March is 45.5°F, or 7.5°C.

The average low temperature has warmed up to 41.4°F (5.2°C), making these outdoor activities much more comfortable.

The average high temperature is now around 50°F (10°C), which makes it perfect for hiking, biking and walking around the city without it being too warm.

Most would consider the sea too cold at this time for swimming, but it offers boating and sailing activities so that visitors can enjoy the beaches.

Being spring, the average number of rainy days rises up to 14 from February's 10. However, this month does not see an abundance of rainfall, only 1.28" (32.6 mm) so rain showers are typically short.
