While the summer weather does start to cool down in Calahonda towards the end of September, average temperatures of 21°C for the month ensure there are still plenty more beach days left. With so much sun around, but far less crowds, September is the perfect time to hit the beach in Calahonda or head out and about and see what is to offer nearby. Six main beaches in Torremolinos ensure plenty of fun for everyone, and they are only a short car or bus journey from the centre of Calahonda. Even in September Playa de Bajondill is still the busiest beach in the area, which means plenty of amenities, cafés and bars. Or head to Montemar or El Saltillo for a much quieter seaside experience.
