What's the Weather like in Cala d'Or in February
Cala d'Or is a small resort in southeast Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain. It is more low key than nearby Palma in terms of nightlife, providing a much more relaxed and quiet atmosphere with many restaurants and bars in the town centre, but few nightclubs. Once a small fishing village, the locals have worked hard to keep the small and intimate feel.
Temperature
Unfortunately for those desperate for the beach weather to arrive in Cala d'Or, temperatures vary very little in February from the cool January readings. Averaging around 4°C at night to 14°C in the afternoon, perhaps a half degree more on occasion, February remains quite chilly by Majorca standardsy European standards, however, it is a beautiful winter destination. Both these low and high temperatures tend to stay constant in the course of the month, maybe with a tiny spike upward at the end of the month. The overall average temperature is 10°C, which is comparable to December and one degree higher than January.

The temperature of the Mediterranean Sea is at its annual low in January, now averaging 14°C. It won't be until June that the sea is warm enough for comfortable swims.
Rainfall
On the bright side, rainfall reduces to about 49mm. Although it is still likely to be a little damp in Cala d'Or in February, with still 13 days of rainfall, the rain continues to ease off during the month, with the dry spring and summer seasons almost within sight. The likelihood of experiencing rainfall decreases slightly in the course of the month, from 36% to 33%. Just like in January, moderate rain is the by far the most common type of precipitation, being observed on 49% of the days with rainfall. Drizzle, light rain and thunderstorms are occasionally experienced as well, respectively on 21%, 13% and 10% of the rainy days. Snowfall is very improbable in the resort.
Average Sunshine Hours
Cloud cover reaches its annual maximum in February, peaking up to 45% and not varying much. This high percentage of cloud cover is the main reason for the relatively low number of 6 hours of sunshine per day on average this month. This is, however, one hour of sunshine more than the previous two monthsore prove that the weather slowly becomes sunnier and warmer.

Things to do in Cala d'Or in February
Cala d'Or Road Train
For a bit of sightseeing, hop on the Cala d'Or road train. Visitors can't miss this brightly coloured blue and yellow vehicle that commutes around the town, and it is all under cover so perfect for getting about on rainy days. There are two routes, one travelling between the town centre and Cala Egos, and one to Cala Esmeralda, or simply just stay on for a round trip and enjoy the ride. These trains are ideal to get a sense of the resort and to get your bearings, in addition to also providing an easy way to get from point A to point B.
Moto-Sprint
Another popular way of getting around and exploring the surrounding area is cycling or motorcycling. Majorca is a preferred destination among cyclists and is criss-crossed with cycling trails, as well mountain biking trails. Trips on motorbikes or scooters are also great fun.
