What's the Weather like in Cadiz in June
Temperature
You'll be in for some tremendous weather during the month of June in Cadiz, so long as sunny skies and warm temperatures are your ideal. This month experiences a bit of a Goldilocks effect it's never too hot, and it's never too cold. With an average temperature of 22°C for the month, many travellers believe this month is the optimal time for a visit, and noticeably so, as crowds begin to swell in the city as spring swings into summer.

If you head to the beach, be sure to pack a towel and bathing suit; ocean temperatures rise to 21°C, which will be considered by most to be comfortable for swimming. With numerous beaches to explore, you're sure to find a pleasant spot to spend a day in the sand.
Madrid, the nation's capital, has the same average temperature for the month (22°C), but with greater variation between high and low temperatures, and more unpredictable weather patterns in general, the landlocked centre can't guarantee the same ideal weather experience as the country's oldest port. Nightly temperatures at the capital can drop to 13°C this month, as compared to 20°C on the coast.

It's a no frills option for travellers who want to be centrally located, but don't plan on spending much time at their accommodation.
Beach in Cadiz for June
La Caleta
La Caleta is located at the far end of the Cadiz peninsula, situated between Castillo de Santa Catalina and Castillo de San Sebastián. It is the most popular beach in the city, although it is rather small and secluded. Small fishing boats drift into the cove during sunset allowing for stunning photography. The beach is so photogenic it was used as a location in the James Bond film Die Another Day. Facilities along the beach include bars, shower stalls and public toilets. It was awarded a blue flag award for its facilities and cleanliness. Lifeguards are on duty during daylight hours. June is a good month for a brisk swim as the ocean temperature is at an average of 21°C.

El Fara de Cadiz
El Faro de Cadiz specializes in great wine and seafood. Just off La Caleta beach, in the neighborhood La Vina, this restaurant has a classic, Spanish interior that is both homey and elegant. Service is formal, with waiters dressed in white jackets. For desert try the vanilla ice cream with a local sweet sherry Pedro Ximenez poured over the top.
Top Coffee Shop
Check out Top Coffee Shop for some great coffee and healthy juices. It's a colorful and hip place with vegan backed goods in their display case. Cozy couches for a relaxing mid-morning hangout. Free Wi-Fi. The highlight here truly seems to be the juices, all made to order with fresh ingredients.
Casa Lazo
Another gem in the heart of Old Town: Casa Lazo. This place is popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. Typical Andalusian food is served; fresh seafood and varying tapas. The service is great with personable staff. It's definitely a restaurant where you get value for your money, with high quality wine at low affordable prices.
Things to do in Cadiz in June
Mercado Central de Abastos
You are going to find lots of great seasonally fresh produce in June at the Mercado Central de Abastos. One of the cities highlights, this market offers stall after stall of fresh fruit and veggies. Really, though, the highlight is the fresh fish, brought in from the sea daily. If you plan to do any cooking during your stay in the city, you absolutely have to stop by the market for the best local ingredients.
Plaza de Las Flores
After the market, stop by the Plaza de Las Flores. This little plaza is filled with flower stalls. The perfect place to pick up a centrepiece for the table where you'll serve up your home cooked meal with ingredients from the market.
