Tabarca Island is a marine reserve that is protected, the island is a haven for snorkelers and scuba divers who can swim with a vast array of different fish species. The beaches are beautiful at Isla de Tarbarca and just what any sun seeker will enjoy, there are seafood restaurants that serve delicious food along the beach for a snack. The island has its fair share of historic buildings and pirates inhabited the island in the 18th century as did prisoners from Tunisia later. There are a few hotels on the island if you wish to stay a night or two.
