Hit the Beach
Cala Cerrada and Cala Bosque are the most broadly known and mainstream of La Zenia Beach. The beaches in spring and summer are exceptionally busy. The facilities on La Zenia beach are phenomenal and of good quality. The close-by beaches of Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig are definitely worthy of a visit. As you go south along the coast to Cabo Roig, there are promenades which are incredible for walking.
Cala Cerrada Beach
Cala Cerrada Beach is a small beach in the La Zenia area. Cala in Spanish means cove. The beach has sunbeds and sunshades available for a fee, the beach is cleaned every day. A small refreshment bar is on the beach and more choices in the town.
Cala Bosque Beach
Cala Bosque Beach is a small beach in the La Zenia area. This beach does get busy in the summer months. The facilities at the beach include a beach bar, children's play area and a volleyball court. The beach has sunbeds and sunshades available for a fee, jet-skis and pedalos are available for hire too and the beach is cleaned every day.

Things to Do in Cabo Roig in August
Mar Menor
Mar Menor or minor sea, is a 70km long salty lagoon which is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a sandbar. The clear warm water is no more than 7 metres in depth and is very popular for water sports in this part of Spain. Mar Menor is an excellent place for photography.
La Manga
La Manga and also known as La Manga del Mar Menor is the sandbar that separates the minor sea from the Mediterranean Sea. La Menga is 100 metres wide and 22 kilometres in length. The area is a haven for water sports like sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and catamarans. La Menga is an excellent place for photography.
