The weather in February remains remarkably similar to the conditions that were felt in January. In fact, all three winter months experience temperatures and precipitation that are steady from one month to the next. De Halve Maan Brewery
For those who love beer, a trip to Bruges is not complete without a trip to the De Halve Maan Brewery. Visitors may take a daily 45-minute long tour which will educate them on the history of beer making and the various local brews. A second tour is also available that includes a private beer tasting in the cellar. This tour is slightly longer and will last 90 minutes, but is well worth the extra time, especially with cold and wet weather expected throughout much of February.
Church of our Lady
For art lovers, a must-see is the Church of our Lady. The church houses works by Michelangelo including the sculpture of Madonna and Child that was created around 1504. Additionally, there are countless paintings and tapestries that are also worth the price of admission. The church itself is a beautiful work of architecture and is not to be missed.
