Things to do in Boracay in September
If visitors get tired of the beach and shopping, then heading to higher ground is always an option. Mount Luho is the tallest point on the island of Boracay and September is a perfect time to visit. Even being the highest elevation, temperatures remain nearly as warm as the 31°C (88°F) that is experienced near sea level for this time of the year. The hike up the mountain can be very steep so it is a good idea for visitors to bring with them some extra water and sunscreen. Other ways to get up the side include ATV's, but it is wise to make sure the price is fair before hopping aboard. The views at the top are spectacular and well worth the trip as vacationers can see the entire mountain from that vantage point. One fly in the ointment, however, is that it can get rather crowded at sunset.
