October in Boracay is one of the wettest times of the year, but is still one of the warmest. Since this month is still considered the off-season, it remains a good time to brave the weather and get a good travel deal. Despite the lateness of the year, October is still a great time to visit the numerous beaches on Boracay. With water temperatures of 28°C (83°F), swimming and playing in the water is still a viable option for visitors. Located along the southern end of the island is Tulubhan Beach. This beach is quiet and contains numerous coves to explore as well as plenty of old trees for shade.

Those looking for a light lunch or a delicious breakfast will want to check out Gusto y Gustos. This tiny deli comes highly recommended for its freshly baked bread and totally customizable sandwiches. The prices are fair and the service is also excellent.

For a quiet place to have a drink in the evening hours, Guilly's Island offers cold beers and a relaxing atmosphere. While not as crowded as some of the other nightspots, it is sill a good place to enjoy a drink or two and is certainly within walking distance of several resorts.

Things to do in Boracay in October

For vacationers who would like to explore more about the underwater world surrounding Boracay, but either don't like snorkeling and don't know how to scuba dive, there is a third option. Several companies offer helmet diving as a way to see the coral and fish while still being able to breathe on the bottom of the ocean. Participants wear a helmet connected to the boat by an oxygen line and are able to view the underwater world just like a scuba diver would.
