There are no services or amenities available directly on the beach, but there is a number of new property developments located along the coast. The Jewish Cemetery and Marine Club are also nearby.
Praia de Santa Maria
Praia de Santa Maria is a great place for the whole family to spend the day together under the sun. Found on the north of the island, this beach is home to powder-like white sand and waves which are great fun to splash around in. Thanks to the almost constant winds, this beach is a top spot to watch surfers, kite surfers and paddle boarders ride the waves. Although there are no real facilities available at this beach, it adds to the charm and ensures it doesn't become over-commercialised.

For local food, visit Boavista Social Club at Estoril Beach, just outside Sal Rei. Diners at this establishment can choose from a number of traditional Cape Verdean dishes, as well as Thai curries and BBQ parties. Not only a place to enjoy a great meal, the Boavista Social Club is also a top location to catch some traditional music performances from local musicians.
Disco Bambu
Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11pm until 5am, Disco Bambu is a recently-opened nightclub located behind Estoril Beach, between Sal Rei and the airport. Without a doubt one of the hottest nightclubs in Boa Vista, Disco Bambu is a great place to go if you want to dance until the early hours.
