Great weather - most days hot and sunny with only two days of rain and some spectacular thunder and lightning at night
Holiday
We stayed at Le Vieux Port - Messanges about 20miles north of Biarritz - great site for kids and adults. Very large but did not feel over busy or crowded - great pool complex including fun pools, wave pool, toddlers area, waterslides etc. Lots of evening entertainment although we didn't really bother with this. Right on the beach - fab!

Weather
The weather in Biarritz at the beginning of july 2008 was mixed between showery and sunshine. #
When the sun did shine it was quite hot but on a rainy day it felt more like England weather.Holiday
Our holiday was enjoyable as Biarritz is a lovely area with good shops and lovely beaches.
The obvious downfall was the poor weather.Recommend Biarritz to others?
