Béziers, France, is a town in the south of the country, lying within the Hérault department. The town has a rich and vast history, with development starting as early as the Neolithic age due to its prime spot along the roadway between Provence and the Iberian Peninsula which was frequently used by the Romans for the transporting of goods.
