What's the weather like in Bermuda in November?

November is the first month of the tourist low season and the start of winter in Bermuda. Although the weather is cooler and the days are shorter, it is still a lovely month to visit as the crowds are smaller, the prices are lower and the heat and humidity are much more bearable. This is a good month to visit for people looking for a more active holiday when the climate is not too hot and there is less rainfall. This month has similar air temperature and rainfall as May and either of these months are a very pleasant time to travel. Temperature
The average temperature in November is 22°C with average high and low temperatures of between 20°C and 24°C. These are similar conditions to those experienced at Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands which is a good alternative for those not wanting to travel as far as Bermuda. Historically, the highest recorded temperature in this month was 29°C and the lowest recorded saw temperatures drop to a chilly 12°C. It is still a nice time of year to have a swim in the sea as the water temperatures are a mild 23°C, although getting out of the water into the cooler air may be less pleasant.
Rainfall
It can be wet in November although it is one of the drier months of the year with around 110mm rainfall that falls over 18 days during the month. The chance of rain on any day in this month is 60% and the most common forms of rain are light to moderately heavy showers. It is usually fairly cloudy at this time of year and there is an average of 78% cloud cover. It is a good idea to check the 14-day weather forecast before heading out for the day in case it does rain. Humidity is much less of a problem at this time of year and varies from 60% to 85% but the lower temperatures keep the humidity to a comfortable level. Winds are usually from the south or west and are between 5 mph and 18 mph on average with gusts reaching as strong as 29 mph at times.

National Museum of Bermuda
As the temperatures drop in November, it is time to head inside to the National Museum of Bermuda. Learn about Bermuda's rich history with military displays, the island's link to the Azores and West Indies, slavery, ancient watercraft, natural history and arts. There are many artefacts from shipwrecks around the coast, historic documents, maps, and relics of 400 years of Bermudian history with a total of over 75,000 objects. The museum is housed in historic military buildings and is located at the west end of the island at the old Royal Naval Dockyard.
World Rugby Classic
Held in November each year, sports fans will love the World Rugby Classic, Bermuda. This is a great fun event for the whole family with rugby teams from around the globe competing to win the cup. There is plenty going on during this weeklong event as the bars and restaurants get busy and there is a party atmosphere on the island. Players and fans mingle in the bars and hotels and at the music events that take place during the week.
