Temperature
August is the hottest month of the year in Bermuda and with average temperatures of 28°C during the day, can be a great month for relaxing at the beach, swimming in the sea and enjoying the long days in the summer sun. Jobson Cove
The secluded Jobson Cove is perfect for families with young children as it is a safe area for swimming and playing in the sand. Situated in Warwick on the south coast, it is connected by paths to other nearby beaches including Horseshoe Bay. This small beach has pink sand and is almost completely enclosed in limestone cliffs that protect it from the waves. The crystal clear water here is calm and shallow and is a great place to see some tropical fish when snorkelling. Climb up the cliffs carefully via the steps and see some beautiful views of the sea and coastline. Visitors can catch a bus to this beach as they run regularly along the whole stretch of the coast.

Dive Bermuda
As the sea warms up in August, it's a good time to try diving with Dive Bermuda. Located at Grotto Bay Beach resort, this dive centre has been operating for 30 years and offers dives for beginners and experienced divers as well as snorkelling excursions. The centre also has PADI courses from beginner to instructor level. With over 300 wrecks around Bermuda, this is a great island to try diving if you have never done it before.
