Bergerac, right in the heart of the Périgord Dordogne region in south west France has something for everyone. From traditional French street markets to boutique stores, from roadside cafes to upscale gourmet restaurants and from vineyards to 'wine caves', there's something to suit all tastes.

Those wanting to experience some of Bergerac's nightlife should check out the WindsorDiscotheque. It's the town's one and only nightclub and has 4 areas, ranging from a bar setting to a large dancefloor. Get there before midnight for free entry, although prices aren't steep afterwards, at £8 for entry plus 1 drink.
