This charming little town and its region seems to have its own micro-climate - the weather comes out always a bit better than the Limoges forecast would suggest.
Warm enough in the summer, without becoming oppressive. No mosquitoes!
The evenings are particularly pleasant as any wind drops to nothing....Very conducive to staying out in a garden with a good bottle of wine!Holiday
Quiet, peaceful, relaxed........
The hilly medieval quarters of the town are well preserved and give a feel of the past.
The local small shopkeepers welcome your trade, in a polite, unhurried fashion.
You just need to remember that everything shuts for lunch and Monday morning seems to be 'all closed'!
New supermarkets on the edge of the town are there to rescue you; even on Sundays.
There are several restaurants, with Le Cheval Blanc greatly recommended!Recommend Bellac to others?
