The city of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia which is in south eastern Europe being the third largest city.  Belgrade in Serbian translates to âWhite Cityâ. The weather here is characterised by south easterly and easterly winds which are called the âKosavaâ which bring clear and dry weather.  The Kosava is the largest air cleaner of Belgrade.  The average all year round annual temperature is 120C with the hottest months normally being July and August.  The coldest months are normally December and January.  Belgrade brings around 700 mm of precipitation per year and an average of 2096 sunny hours per year.  The highest temperature ever recorded in Belgrade was 43.10C and the lowest was -26.2 in 1893.
