Papillion Ayscha  is a luxury beach front hotel In Belek. They cater to families and party goers with a mixture of child friendly activities and big DJ dance parties. Rooms range from a standard double to a presidential villa. The hotel offers a choice of 4 restaurants and three bars that cater to different tastes. There is a kids club that caters to children from the age of 4 years. The resort has a private beach with a selection of sun loungers and cabanas. There is a spa and wellness centre offering a range of treatments from massages to facials and waxes. There are two outdoor pools and one indoor pool.

 

The Calista Luxury Resort offers day passes to its beach for non-guests. The price is high but includes a drinks voucher for the beach bar and a snack voucher at one of the cafes. You have access to the 200 meter long beach and complimentary use of a sun lounger. The waves are small and suitable for young children. The beach has a full bar service and a snack cafe.  There are a team of lifeguards on duty to ensure your safety. The water tends to be darker than other beaches in the area due to the fine black pebbles in the sand.  You may want to wear flip-flops in the beach as they can be uncomfortable to walk on.

A short drive will take you to the village of Side and its West Beach. The water is safe and shallow making this a popular beach with families. There are a number of hire places on the beach offering sun loungers, beach chairs, umbrellas and equipment for a number of sports such as wind surfing and snorkelling. The water is very clear and a green/blue colour with a fine white sand beach. The beach has lifeguards on duty to ensure your safety. You will find a selection of restaurants and bars within a short walk of the beach.

Pescado ala Carte Restaurant is a seafood restaurant on the beach at the Gloria Golf Resort. They offer a kids menu and the place is aimed at families with young children.  The kids menu includes favourites such as fish fingers and chips or hamburgers. Adults will enjoy the fresh fish, garlic prawns and calamari. The restaurant offers great views of the ocean and you can sit outside with your feet in the sand. They have a small but reasonably priced wine list.

Le Jardin is in the Gloria Serenity Resort and offers French cuisine in a luxury setting. The resort offers baby sitting in their kids club as this is not a child friendly restaurant. You can outside on the terrace and enjoy views over the resort pool towards the ocean.  Speciality dishes include Escargot, steak with vegetables and langoustines. The prices are high but the food is excellent and the service attentive. They offer a well chosen wine list with mostly French imports on the list.

Carya Golf Club is a floodlit golf course allowing for day and night gold. The course is 18 holes and is 6563 meters long. The course was designed by Peter Thomson and is a Par 72 course layout running through pine forest and past lakes. Each hole is desgined to be challenging and rewarding to golfers. You can reserve a tee time online and you can hire equipment or buy it from on site pro-shop.

Take a Gulet Day Trip from the nearby town of Manavgat near Side. You board a traditional gulet and sail down the river to the ocean. Guests then spend the day at the beach swimming in the river or the ocean. This is great way to get away from the crowds in Belek but to still spend the day at the beach. The crew set up a BBQ on the beach and you will be served a lunch of meats and salads with cold wine and beer. In the afternoon a Belly Dancing show is put on and you can join in to learn some new dance moves.  There are a number of companies offering this trip so ask at your hotel to get the best deal.
