Santa Claus Museum is an interesting place to visit and is a church hewn into the rock. A number of people believe the saint after whom this church is named forms part of the legend of Santa Claus. The museum shows some interesting facts and relics of the saint. The history is very interesting and church is beautiful to explore. You can do this as part of a day trip to the town of Kas.
Kaya Eagles Golf Course is found at the Kaya Golf hotel and resort. The course is a standard 18 holes and is one of the cheaper courses to play in Belek. They have a driving range and a hire store where you can hire equipment as well golf carts. There is a bar and snack cafe at the club for after play drinks. It is fairly easy to get a tee off time at this course and guests of the Kaya resorts get a discount.
A wonderful day trip is to explore the historic centre of the nearby town of Side. The town is filled with landmarks such as the old lighthouse, Roman Viaducts, 1000 year old Turkish Baths and ruins of everyday buildings including a Roman shop. This is all in the middle of the town so it is possible to stop at a cafe and be looking at a Roman ruin. You can easily spend a day exploring all the ancient ruins and newer buildings that make up the town. There are a number of cafes and restaurants if you are getting tired of the food at your hotel and want to experience local Turkish cuisine.
