Beaches for October for Bali
Dreamland Beach
Dreamland Beach is a white sand beach located on the Bukit peninsula and is relatively quiet and secluded. Swimming is not recommended here, especially not on the eastern part of the beach, as the currents are very strong and the waves can be dangerous. These conditions do however, make for great surfing. There is a relatively small amount of accommodation, but cafes, and some beach rental equipment (sunbeds/umbrellas) are available.
Lovina Beach
Lovina Beach is a black sand beach located on Bali's northern coast. Calm waters make the beach ideal for swimming. It is relatively quiet with a more relaxed pace than many of Bali's busier beaches. Lovina Beach belongs to a fishing community which is known for its colourful water craft.
It is also not uncommon to see dolphins swimming in the waters just off of the beach, so keep your eyes peeled. As this is a quieter Bali beach, accommodation is limited, but there will likely be a few vendors pacing the beach. Lovina Beach is located about a 90 minute drive north of Ubud.
