There are more than a hundred bars and nightclubs in the resort, but one of the hottest clubs in Ayia Napa is called Bedrock, which has a prehistoric theme and free entry. There is great music, karaoke and a wide drink selection, with unique specialty drinks as well as a huge variety of wine and beer. The bar has an indoor and outdoor area and it's a great place for families in the afternoon before getting into adults-only mode at night.

Jello Cafe Restaurant

For food, you might head to Jello Café Restaurant, located a couple of minutes from the Ayia Napa Harbour. This is a hip, trendy and modern café and lounge bar that draws in a crowd of young tourists. The menu consists of full meals, such as steaks, fish and hamburgers, but also of snacks, cocktails and wine.

A popular pub/bar/restaurant is Orange Grove, a place offering evening entertainment that's open year round. Thalassa Municipal Museum of the Sea

The Thalassa Municipal Museum of the Sea is the resort's only museum. It focuses on the sea and on the influence it has (had) on the history and development of Cyprus. It showcases everything from marine animals, such as dolphins, sea birds and turtles, to ancient fossils of shells, corals and fish. Also on display are archaeological remains of all historical periods in the history of Cyprus, from the Neolithic period to the period when the island was ruled by the Venetians. Additionally, there are a cafeteria, an amphitheatre for shows, plays and concerts, and a gift shop.

Ayia Napa Harbour

Even though rain and/or clouds are possible in January, it still is a good time to go for strolls. The Ayia Napa Harbour is a massively popular part of the town, filled with restaurants, bars, fishing boats, yachts and a beach. If the sun's out, you should definitely spend a few hours (or more) enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the harbour area.
