Because Amadores is quite small, it's easy to get around no matter where you stay, however being close to the beach is always a good bet. Terraza Amadores Apartments are just 200m from the beach itself, so you don't have far to go at all. These apartments are basic but modern, with self-catering and B&B options to choose from.

Another great value apartment choice for a budget price is Apartamentos Palmera Mar. This is close to the centre of town, with a heated outdoor pool for those slightly cooler months. You can go half board with this option too, so you can base yourself in the apartment or outside for your meals.

Las Villas de Amadores is another accommodation option to look at, with one and two bedroom apartments on offer, again very central, and very modern.
Beach in Amadores for March
Puerto de Mogan Beach
If you want a spot of sophistication and quiet relaxation for your beach time, then head to nearby Puerto de Mogan for the day. The beach here is calm, relaxed, and surrounded by an upmarket feet. The crystal clear water is fantastic for swimming and snorkelling, and you could hire some equipment and check out the underwater residents of the sea. There are plentiful sun-beds here, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot, with umbrellas for hire too.
If you want to venture further from the sand, why not head off on a yellow submarine trip and check out the marine-life without getting wet.
Bars and Restaurants
Tommy Tucker Irish Bar
For vibrant night-life you are better off heading towards Puerto Rico, as the evening entertainment here is a little more fast-paced, compared to the laid-back atmosphere in Amadores. Tommy Tucker Irish Bar is a fun night out, with plenty of dancing, laughs, and of course a glass or two of Guinness to enjoy.
Irish Cottage
Staying in Amadores for your evening meal, you can still go down the friendly Irish route, and head to Irish Cottage for a hearty meal, or alternatively head there for breakfast, with very cheap full English breakfasts on offer, to set you up for the day.

Things to do in Amadores in March
Easter
Depending on how Easter falls, when visiting Amadores you will witness the processions and celebrations of Holy Week. This falls obviously the week before Easter itself, and you will see religious statues carried through towns, depicting the events of the religious festival itself. When Easter arrives, colourful celebrations occur, with Easter egg hunts, dancing, singing, and generally a bright atmosphere. This is a wonderful time to visit Amadores.
Clifftop Stroll to Puerto Rico
On top of this, March's very mild temperatures and less likelihood of rain makes it a great time to get your walking shoes on and take the gentle clifftop stroll to neighbouring Puerto Rico. Even taking this at a leisurely pace it shouldn't take you more than half an hour, and if you want to grab a taxi on the way back, to save your legs, this will only take you 5-10 minutes try and set your price before you get in the taxi however.
Once you arrive in Puerto Rico you can enjoy the marina, a spot of people watching, a light refreshment, or head off shopping. Puerto Rico is a lovely day out for a change of scenery from Amadores.
Oasis Lago Taurito Water-Park
If you're travelling with children, or you're simply a big kid at heart yourself, you have two nearby options for water-park fun and thrills. Oasis Lago Taurito Water-Park is a great choice for family fun, set right on the sea front, very close to Puerto de Mogan. There is also bowling here for those who don't fancy getting wet.
Aqualand Maspalomas
Alternatively, nearby Maspalomas has Aqualand Maspalomas, with plenty of themed water-based fun, including Congo River, Surf Beach, and fun rapid to enjoy. There is also mini-golf for when you're tired of splashing.
