Almancil Weather Overview

Almancil is a town in the south of Portugal.

The holiday town enjoys a pleasantly warm climate and has four distinct seasons throughout the year, differentiated by temperature and rainfall, with hot and sunny summers rounded by fairly mild winters.

Summer is Almancil is typically the hottest season of the year and enjoys pleasant rays of sunshine. Holiday-makers and inhabitants of the Portuguese town can soak up the warm sun, with an average high temperature of around a pleasant 27°C. With Almancilâs pool sides, there is perfect opportunity for lovers of the sun to achieve a beautiful sun-kissed tan. Temperatures may drop to around a slightly cooler 18°C during the summer months, providing a nice cool break from the hot weather. Rainfall really is not a problem in Almancil throughout summer, there are only around 4 millimetres of rain over each month.

Autumn is cooler compared to the previous months, but still undergoes enjoyable weather. Temperatures can reach up to around 23°C, so visitors may still want to bring sun cream with them and to check the weather forecast prior to their arrival in Almancil. Temperatures may drop to around a cool 14°C throughout the autumn months, so packing a few warm clothes with you would be recommended. September is a relatively dry month with only 14 millimetres of rainfall altogether; not much compared to around 75 millimetres of rainfall throughout October and November when packing an umbrella in your suitcase is advised!

Winter is, unsurprisingly, the coolest season of the year in Almancil but the town does not have particularly cold weather, with average low temperatures only hanging around a chilly 8°C. Temperatures may rise to a warmer 16°C in winter, but warm jumpers and woolly socks are still needed. Winter is the wettest time of year for Almancil, with around 70 to 90 millimetres of precipitation each month, so try not to forget some waterproof clothing and a trusty brolly!

Spring is the time of year when the sun begins to shine down on Almancil once more with average high temperatures reaching up to around a pleasant 20°C. However, the weather can still be moderately chilly with average low temperatures hitting up to a cool 14°C. Visitors are advised, therefore, to check the weather forecast before their visit to ensure they come prepared for imminent weather with sufficient warm clothing. Rainfall is not too much of a problem in Almancil with precipitation levels only hitting up around a relatively dry 33 millimetres of rainfall in total each month.

All in all, Almancil receives weather that is not too much of a challenge and is a beautiful, sunny place, particularly in summer. With its nearby churches to visit, fine restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, beautiful beaches and fun night life, there is something to suit all tastes for the perfect holiday.
