Alcudia is a well-known tourist destination found in the north of Majorca, which is also part of the Spanish Balearic Islands. The resort is popular with families and couples due to the fine sand beaches of Alcudia, as well as the charming Old Town.

Spanish
Spanish cuisine is very common in Majorca; some of the favourites include 'paella' which is made up of usually seafood or meat mixed with rice and traditionally cooked in an open wood fire. Tapas is also widely eaten throughout the island before a main meal. 'Pa amb Oli' is a particular favourite with Majorcans which is typically made up of bread, local ramallet tomato and a dash of olive oil. On the other hand roast-suckling pig is one of the most popular pork dishes found on the island and seafood dishes are very common along the coastline of Majorca.
S'Amfora Restaurant in Port d'Alcudia serves delicious authentic Spanish cuisine. Some of the most popular dishes include the seafood paella, the shoulder of lamb and the mixed tapas. Another place to try is Es Celler de Ca'n Joanet which offers succulent suckling pig and very reasonably priced house wine! This hidden gem can be found down Carrer d'en Serra, off the Main Street.
On the other hand if you want somewhere brand spanking new head to Tasta-lo. This tapas bar serves a range of great dishes including mini burgers with cheddar cheese and bacon and grilled scallops with lime sauce.
If you want spectacular views try Mirador de la Victoria which overlooks the Balearic Sea. This is a great place to enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner in charming surroundings. Whilst another place to try during your stay in Alcudia is S'oli Verge in Port d'Alcudia. This place serves flavoursome paella at a very reasonable price.
Mediterranean
A majority of restaurants in Alcudia offer all the Mediterranean classics such as Italian pizzas and pasta or fresh locally caught seafood.
Como En Casa serves fresh homemade food made with locally sourced Majorcan products. They offer a selection of authentic Italian pizzas, grilled meats and Spanish tapas. On the other hand if you want somewhere a bit more romantic head to the Old Town where you will stumble across Restaurant S'Arc. This up market restaurant prides itself on its visually stunning and mouthwatering food. Some of the best dishes to try are the duck Magret in cassis sauce and the cheesecake with candied walnuts.
Restaurante Ca'n Costa is a family run restaurant located in the heart of Alcudia. They offer a wide variety of dishes such as anything from mussels to roast suckling pig. They also offer seasonal favourites such as pork loin with cabbage, raisons and pine nuts or stuffed aubergine with meat and vegetables.
Playero Restaurant is a popular eatery situated right on the beachfront of Alcudia. They serve some of the Spanish favourites including paella and tapas but they also offer a selection of highly recommended savoury and sweet crepes. Whilst if you want somewhere a bit more relaxed and a secluded location head to Sa Caseta, which is hidden away in the streets of the Old Town. This charming little restaurant serves all the Italian classics such as pizza, pasta and succulent steaks.
Steakhouse
Meat lovers will be pleased to know there are numerous steakhouses and grills dotted around the resort.
Luna's Grill is a favourite with locals and tourists due to its great grilled food and live evening entertainment. In the past tribute acts such as Westlife and Lady Gaga have performed here, which have all gone down a storm! Some of the best dishes to try are the kebab skewers and authentic pizzas.
Another great place to feast upon some meat is at Steakhouse Carabela. This place offers massive T-bone steaks and a delicious array of starters and deserts including onion soup and banoffee pie.
Whilst If you want somewhere atmospheric head to Meson Dulcinea. This authentic Majorcan restaurant serves a selection of flavoursome meat dishes which are cooked on a sizzling hot stone to your personal liking.
British
If you would rather stick to some good old pub grub there are a number of restaurants in Alcudia that serve dishes similar to what you would find back home.
If you're looking for a delicious full English breakfast look no further than The Foxes Arms in Port d'Alcudia. This British run bar offers all the traditional favourites and cooks up some of the best curry found in the whole of Alcudia! If you're into football they are big Leicester City fans, but they also show all the major matches by the bar.
The Brunel Inn is another great British eatery found in Alcudia which serves up a mouth watering full English breakfast! They also serve delicious steak and classic beers are on tap including Foster's and Guinness.
