The owners of this winery offer guided tours of the production area and the surrounding vineyards where the grapes are grown, all for a very reasonable price. On the tour you'll follow an experienced guide who will tell you all about wine making and the history of the winery. Before you leave, you'll have the chance to try some of the different wines and buy any which take your fancy.
Dates for the diary
On the first of the month Labour Day is celebrated in Paderne. This event is great fun for the whole family to enjoy and includes a lively street fair with various exhibitions and displays. Make sure you turn up with an empty stomach there will be plenty of opportunities to grab a bite to eat from the numerous kiosks throughout the resort.
IberoVespa is also held in Albufeira each year at the beginning of May the specific dates aren't usually available until a week beforehand. During this event, the resort welcomes the largest gathering of Vespa fans in the whole of Portugal who come together to discuss the popular scooter.
