Heaven on earth

Weather
Agios Gordios is "heaven on earth" if you want a relaxed holiday. The weather is at its best in June and September (28 degrees). There are enough tavernas and restaurants with excellent food. The locals are very nice, filled with hospitality and friendly. The only problem is the "wooden boulevard" along the beach and the fact that most of the package deal hotels' apartments have beautiful views, but need climbing up and down. It is a place for older people; there are, apart from the backpack Pink Palace hotel, no loud youngsters. Happily there is no disco, only 2 or 3 night bars.
Holiday
Last time I was there the first two weeks in June with lovely weather (28 - 34 degrees) and I stayed at Dina's Apartments which are "downstairs" and 50 m from the sea and all shops and banking machine. The pace of life is lovely. It was my 9th time; in September I will be going for the first two weeks for the 10th time and it will never bore me! It feels like my second family.
For your information: I travel alone, because two years ago, coming back from our holiday in A.G. my husband died. So you can understand for me there is no other place to go. They knew my husband and understand the situation. As a woman alone I feel very safe there!Recommend Agios Gordios to others?
