My daughters and I spent last week in Morzine and we had a great week considering it's late in the season. (The last week of the season for Morzine) Rain up to 2500 mtrs was the worst problem and we had to give in on two days in the early afternoon, a little like "drowned rats"!! But the other days were much better. Two days were warm and sunny with decent snow in the mornings and two days where visibility was not great.Resort was good with great food, if a little pricey !!

Lovely town located near the Swiss Border , you actually ski half the time in France and half the time in Switzerland .
It had'nt snowed for a while but the pistes were still good
Great resort for beginners and intermediates , the most challenging run is "the Wall" which is steep with really big moguls .
Accomodation was good and the apres livley , especially the Budha Bar .
Downside is getting on to the piste from Morzine to Avoriaz takes a while and is easy to miss the last lift back and then there is a bus or a 50 euro taxi
Recommended Places
Budha bar for Apres
Many good restaurants with good value

Great skiing for all abilities; very child friendly, lots of nursery slopes and choice of ski schools; we found ESF to be the best. Friendly, charming village that still retains the traditional feel of an old ski resort. Plenty to do if you don't ski but personally think portes de soleil is best skiing around!

it is a very beautiful place with a lot amazing sites, I failed to fined one nice French person, the boys were leaching over my girlfriend like meat and wear rude at every given chance.
We would go there again but only if i could make sure we would not have to deal with any French people.
We went out for diner four times and got food most days out on the moutons, it was only on the last night we went to a Indian restraint that we got what we could call our order and any thing we can call good food.
What a shame they are like that, it could have been a good holiday.
I will not be going back.
