Within the complex you'll find free WiFi access at reception, swimming pool, solarium and restaurant which specialises in Italian cuisine. You'll also find a choice of international restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets nearby.

One-Bedroom Apartment

For something more private, take a look at this one-bedroom apartment in Los Gigantes. This recently-renovated apartment can sleep up to four guests and is situated in the heart of the resort, equally close to the marina, beach, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Facilities include one bedroom with two twin beds, living room with two-person sofa bed and satellite TV, bathroom with shower, full kitchen and balcony with furniture. The complex features two gardens and two swimming pools.

 

Bars And Restaurants

Jardin del Sol

Sample some authentic Spanish cuisine by dining at Jardin del Sol. Located within the resort's main square, this restaurant features classic Spanish decor with dark wooden furniture which perfectly complements the Mediterranean food. Here you can try classic Spanish dishes such as fish soup, garlic prawns, suckling pig and paella, with some international specialities, such as duck in orange sauce and steak Rossini on the menu, too. There is a great selection of wine available, although the homemade sangria is said to be the best drink on the menu.

Tamara

If you'd rather try Italian, spend the evening at Tamara. Located on the outskirts of the marina with some sea views from the outside terrace, this restaurant offers bruschetta, homemade pastas, stone-baked pizzas, grilled meats and fresh seafood. The portions are generally very generous, making this restaurant great value for money. The drinks menu is fairly average for a restaurant in Los Gigantes, with a selection of Canarian, Spanish and international beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Things To Do In Los Gigantes In August

Playa Los Guios

Make the most of the sunshine and spend the day at Playa Los Guios, nestled in between the marina and the cliffs of Los Gigantes. Here you'll find black sands peppered with sun loungers and parasols which are available to rent, plus clear, calm waters which create the ideal environment for safe swimming and snorkelling. Although there are no beach bars, there is a selection of cafes and eateries nearby at the marina. Thanks to its very small size, this beach is perfect for families who need to keep an eye on their small children.

Los Gigantes Marina

If you like the idea of going on a whales and dolphins trip but don't want to be tied down to someone else's schedule, consider renting a boat and embarking on your own marine adventure. There are plenty of boats available to hire from the Los Gigantes marina, ranging from fishing boat-style vessels and small yachts to speedboats and luxury yachts. You'll need a sailing licence to captain your own boat, but if you don't have one, many of the boat rental companies around the marina can provide you with a qualified captain, too.
