Los Gigantes is a popular holiday location in Tenerife in the Canary Islands, blessed with spectacular views and breathtaking scenery. Thanks to its location on the south western coast of the island, Los Gigantes enjoys some of the best weather in Tenerife, with generally high temperatures and loads of sunshine all-year-long.
Despite being classed as Europe, Tenerife is located 100km off the north eastern coast of west Africa and therefore enjoys a sub-tropical climate which is usually divided into two seasons summer and winter as opposed to the normal four. Whilst tropical climates tend to be associated with high humidity, Los Gigantes enjoys fairly low humidity throughout the year, so even when temperatures shoot up, the weather is rarely uncomfortable.
