Cambrils features a warm and hospitable climate for the majority of the year. Situated on the northern east coast of Spain; Cambrilsâ Mediterranean climate assures plenty of warm sunshine all year round.
Summers throughout the region are typically hot, never dropping below 26ºC during its hottest months. However due to its northern location on the coastline; Cambrils winter months can endure the odd cold spell. Typically temperatures will never fall below 8ºC.
Famous for its delightful fishing village; Cambrils locality is on the south-western area of the Costa Dorada. With nearby towns such as; Salou and La Pineda; Cambrils is an ideal base for a brief vacation in Spain. With its desirable year round weather that is likely to be milder and more tolerable than many of the Spanish resorts further south Cambrils is also known to be a favourable family holiday.

Although the majority of the regions precipitation is obtained throughout the spring and autumn months; Cambrils is generally wetter than the southern coastal areas of Spain. Rain does however fall more in autumn than in spring, with averages hovering around 48mm in the spring and about 85mm in the autumn months. Temperatures throughout these times are also rather mild and pleasant, seeing highs of 22ºC to 25ºC in May and September and lows of 10ºC to 13ºC in March and November. Spring and autumn are also prefect times for a famous golf holiday as Cambrils features many of the worlds most admired golfing courses.
Summers can be very hot, but not overly oppressive like most resorts further south. Climates throughout the peak gathering season is perfect for swimming, water sport activities, sunbathing and all outdoor leisureâs as temperatures hit their utter highest. Average temperatures during the summer will linger around 25ºC but will typically reach beyond 30ºC in August. With over ten hours of enjoyable sunshine daily, the pleasurable coastal breezes help tame the humidity levels keeping them at a more bearable rate.
Winters can at times feel chilly, but in comparison to many other European locations, are relatively mild. With average climates hanging around 12ºC, Cambrils weather is still enjoyable enough for seeing the many sights of the region and active outdoor activities. With winter averages of 40mm of rainfall per month, temperatures always above 8ºC, five to six hours of sunshine per day, Cambrils assures an enjoyable holiday all year round.
